Korfu

Mitt på Korfus östkust ligger Gouvia, en enorm marina med 1200 kajplatser. Vi bunkrar diesel och vatten. Man fick stanna vid kajen gratis i 2 timmar, annars var priset 45 euro/natt.

Corfu Town ligger bara 10 M söder om Gouvia. Vi ankrar intill det gamla fortet som ligger mitt i den gamla stadsdelen.

Hit kommer färjor från fastlandet, och turisterna väller in. Det råder ändå en lugn och trevlig atmosfär. Vi stannar i 3 dagar.

Sista ankringen på Korfu blir Petriti, ett litet fiskesamhälle som ligger lite avsides, så de flesta besökarna kommer sjövägen. Det finns massor med tavernor. Vi besöker en av dem tillsammans med Linda & Martyn och Tina & Les.

Souvlaki smakar bra.

In the middle of Corfu’s east coast lies Gouvia, a huge marina with 1,200 berths. We bunker diesel and water. You can stay at the pier free of charge in 2 hours, otherwise the price was 45 euros / night.

Corfu Town is only 10 m south of Corfu. We drop anchor next to the old fort which is located in the old town.

Ferries from the mainland fills the city with tourists. There is still a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. We stop for 3 days.

Last stop on Corfu was Petriti, a small fishing harbour which lies a little remote, so most visitors arrive by sea. There are lots of taverns. We visit one of them along with Linda & Martyn and Tina & Les.

Souvlaki tastes good.
